OVERVIEW
A modular illustration system created to translate complex genetic and medical information into clear, approachable visual stories. I led the visual language across character design, reusable assets, iconography and motion-ready illustrations.
Genetic and medical test results often contain technical language and complex concepts that can be difficult for patients to understand. Receiving such information can be overwhelming and stressful, especially when the implications are unclear.
The character design in Igentify’s explainer videos plays a key role in reducing patient anxiety and encouraging them to take proactive steps for their health.
By incorporating characters that patients can identify with through diverse representation, relatable gestures, and empathetic expressionsthe design fosters a personal connection that makes the content feel more supportive, accessible, and tailored to their experience.
I developed a scalable visual system spanning character design, reusable assets, iconography, color, typography and motion ready components designed to maintain consistency across a growing library of medical explainers.
The product is dynamic, the avater can change appearance and gender based on the patient's personal detaensuring a more personalized and inclusive experience.
